Travelife is a global accommodation sustainability certification body. Respected for being impartial and robust, our comprehensive set of requirements recognized by the GSTC covers carbon emissions, biodiversity, human rights, labor rights, child protection and animal welfare.
Travelife certified accommodations are committed to creating better places to live, work and visit.
The commitment to environmental responsibility has evolved to become a fundamental pillar of HOVIMA Hotels' strategy.
This initiative took shape in mid-2014 with the acquisition of the HOVIMA Costa Adeje complex, achieving the prestigious “Gold Travelife Sustainability in Tourism” certification in 2015.
In recognition of our efforts and commitments, we are proud to have been awarded the Travellife 2023-2025 certificates for yet another year. We have been awarded for acting in the following areas:
• Minimize your environmental impact
• Improve the economic and social impacts for the inhabitants of your community
• Respect and protect human rights and fair labor practices
• Safeguard animal welfare and biodiversity
